the love of friends

My next contest is going to be themed around love. But not erotic love, married love, or dating. I want you to write about the beautiful love that is friendship. It can be a friendship with someone you've known all your life, it can be someone you've just met, or it can be a whole group of people. It doesn't have to be autobiographical, though, and this time poetry AND prose are allowed.


Entries must be literature.
Entries can be in any category of literature.
Entries must have been written on or after January 21st, 2009.
Entries must be by your own self.
